Very cool stuff!

I took this post from my mother-in-law. I thought it was very cool. Check it out and let me know what you think!

I believe it is our responsibility to take good care of our bodies. Whole foods are certainly a great place to start.

A friend sent me this via email. Fascinating!

It’s been said that God first separated the salt water from the fresh, made dry land, planted a garden, made animals and fish… all before making a human. He made and provided what we’d need before we were born. These are best & more powerful when eaten raw. We’re such slow learners.

God left us a great clue as to what foods help what part of our body! God’s Pharmacy! Amazing!

CarrotA sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye… and YES, science now shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

Tomato SliceA Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart has four chambers and is red. All of the research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

Kidney BeanKidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.

CeleryCelery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don’t have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

AvocadosAvocados, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today’s research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? It takes exactly nine (9) months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).

FigsFigs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm as well to overcome male sterility.

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.

Grapefruit

Grapefruits, Oranges, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.Onion

Onions look like the body’s cells. Today’s research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body.

All Things are Possible With My God!!

I am being healed! I can feel it! It’s in the atmosphere. The wind has change it is now blowing my way. I am feeling His strength breathing on me and His grace hugging me. With each breath I take and move I make I feel healing through my bones.

Thank you gracious Father for loving and healing me. I feel you closer than ever!

I except what you are calling me into. I say your will be done for your Glory. Please be there to hold me and keep me. I don’t want to take my eyes off of you for fear of being taken off course. Put blinders on that I may stay focused. Steadfast. Loving others and serving others as you have been my perfect example.

Use me I am willing. Teach me I want to learn. I love you!

God I feel you giving me and my family Power, Love and a Sound Mind!!

Be thou OUR vision!

For me and my house we will serve the Lord!

Healing is here! God is here!

A few random things

Tonight was the first night my husband has preached at an “official” church service. He has taught some Sunday school classes for the adults and has shared at home groups before. In my opinion it was very annointed and a timely word. He did a wonderful job and I am so proud of him for yeilding, so willingly, to the call of God on his life. Good job Sweetie!

On our way home from church tonight (we have our services on Saturday night instead of Sun. morning) it began to rain and very shortly turned into a full blown thunderstorm. The kids always ask about what the thunder is and the lightning. After getting home the kids were downstairs having something to eat and I took David on a tour of some home decorating I had done today while he was out ;) While on tour a huge boom of thunder echoed, and of shortly after all the boys were crying and running up the stairs for us to comfort them. I once again told them that there is nothing to be afraid of and that Jesus made the thunder and the lightning and he would protect us. I then added that the thunder and the lightning are like a song. It makes noise sometimes loud and sometimes soft. The kids were happy with that answer and continued eating. Suddenly, Noah comes running over to daddy and jumps in his arms and just lays his head on his shoulder. I guess he just wanted to snuggle. Then another loud boom happened and Noah responds saying “Thank you Jesus for the thunder that is just like a song” I thought that was so sweet!

It’s now bedtime and Noah wants to join me in my room while I get my PJs on and put away my clothes etc. While in the process one of my earrings fell out of my ear and I asked Noah to please pick it up for me. He did and continued to talk to me and then all of a sudden he says “I don’t have a hole in me” with a puzzled look on his face. He was referring to a hole to put the earring in. He said “only mommy has a hole in her” :) Once again a cutie pie comment from a cutie pie.

Body Painting and Finger Sucking

Markers can be fun, even without paper.

Nuff said.

Beautiful healing

I have to say that the sweetest thing happened to me the other day. I was riding in the car with my family, and was very sick. I was throwing up and had a bad headache, chills, sweats and all. I was pretty miserable. As I was  sitting in the car with my head in my hands, I hear Caleb ask me “Mommy you have a headache?” I answered “yes sweetie I do.” He then replies “Jesus loves mommy be better in Jesus name Amen.” That was the most amazing prayer I have every heard. I was so blessed to hear my sons response to me being sick. So quick to respond to a need with prayer. How beautiful. Normally the kind of episode I was having comes frequent with the fibromyalgia. It usually lasts a bout 2 days and some times lands me in the ER. However, that night the pain in my head melted and the upset stomach, chills and cold sweats just disappeared. I am so thankful to God for him answering the sweet prayer of my son.

Sweet #1

Happy Birthday to my sweet baby girl. I love you with all my heart. You are so cuddly and precious. I love all your kisses and hugs. I love your sweet tender voice. I can’t believe how danty and girly you are. I am eating it up. I sort of thought you would be a tom-boy because you have so many big brothers, but you aren’t. You love dresses and clothes. You pose and smile for all your pictures. You love to sing and dance. You are getting so big. Thank you for being such a sweet, tender, loving little girl. Mommy loves you!

Fresh Air

My title has nothing to do with what I am writing about I just picked it at random. :)

Well construction is over and we are at home unpacking everything. It is like moving it to a new house. I love it! Brand new flooring everywhere, fresh paint and new colors, new shutters and new front door color, and a few other odds and ends. It has been more stress than I could handle and definitely cracked under the pressure. Now that it is over we are starting to get back to normalcy (whatever that is). I will take pictures once we are done unpacking everything and hanging our pictures back up. I am so excited to put the finishing touches on everything.

Mother’s day wasn’t so lovely for me. I woke up so sick I didn’t get out of bed all day and I was in unbearable pain all day :( Not how I imagined spending the day. My mother-in-law was coming over and I was going to cook and have a nice relaxing afternoon but my health once again dictated how I was to spend the day. I am so frustrated that I’m sick all the time. (Please Lord heal me!!!!!!) It makes me so sad that my kids ask me every day if I am sick. This is not the memory they deserve to have of their mom ;( It breaks my heart.

Our new nanny just started. The kids really like her. I think it’s going to work out really well. Only time will tell.

Things at church are going well. I am taking on a lot more responsibilities as the secretary and I really love serving in this area. My Pastors are so awesome. I haven’t been in a good church with good Pastors before so this is so nice. What an encouragement and great advise and direction Good solid people can bring to your life. All I ever had was a set of Pastors who tore me down. God is so good for placing David and I in such a solid place where we can learn and grow.

My children are doing well. They are so beautiful. I am enjoying the conversations we have been engaging in ;-) They are getting so big and smart. I love hearing all the wonderful things they think up and care about.

I guess that is all for now just wanted to write and update you a little!

Late bloomer

Sadie finally has a tooth!!! Yeah!

Renovations

On Friday marked our first day of renovations. We are having some plaster repairs done, everything painted, new shutters and new door color, and all new floors put in. I can understand what you are going through Ashleigh!!! It is tough to have kids and keep house and your sanity while people are moving about the house tearing things up. I can’t wait till it’s all done. It’s gonna feel like a new house. David and I have never been able to do anything with our room and bathroom since we moved in 3 1/2 years ago. It has been everything but a relaxing retreat for us. It will finally be done and it will be nice to have a place to go at night and escape the craziness of the day. I didn’t take before pictures but I will definitely take after pictures and post them. I do have a picture of the outside of the house I took in the winter so I will post that one and it’s after photo when it is all said and done!!! Yeah I am so excited.

mmm.. Broccoli

I am one proud momma. I’m not sure this is a common phrase in too many households, but tonight Noah was eating dinner and when he saw all the broccoli on his plate he says “mmm.. broccoli” ! It warmed my heart. If all else fails my son will eat healthy ;-)
